Less of Ness

The Loch Ness Monster-Nessie
Travelled to the Isle Of Skye,
In the far off land of Scotland
and I’ll bet you wonder why.
He planned to join the Tug O’ War
A Scottish Highland Game,
to show the clans that he was real
And bring Loch Ness some fame.
He lumbered o’er the hills and glens
And found the mystic moor.
Twixt faerie pools and heather
Nessie stopped to take a snore.
Pixies are mischievous
and they plotted through his nap.
And when they sent him on his way
He did not have his map.
Where is Nessie now, you ask?
It’s anybody’s guess.
But this is why he can’t be found
inside the Loch of Ness!
